1. Controller
This policy explains how personal data is handled on gameharboronline.pro. The controller under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Finnish Data Protection Act (1050/2018) is:
GameHarbor Online
Urho Kekkosen katu 1, 00100 Helsinki, Finland

2. Why we process data and on what basis
- Answering your messages. We use the name, email address, subject and message you send through the contact form to reply to you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Keeping the site secure. Our hosting server logs the IP address, time and requested page of each visit to detect attacks and errors. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Visit statistics. Only if you switch on analytics cookies. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time in Cookie settings.
3. What data we collect
- Details you type into the contact form: name, email address, subject and message.
- Technical data your browser sends automatically: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the page you came from and the time of the request.
- Your cookie choice, stored in your own browser (see the Cookie policy).
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, sensitive data such as health information or identity numbers (henkilötunnus).
4. How long we keep it
Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to answer you and deal with the matter, and are then deleted.
Server and CDN logs are kept by our hosting provider and by Cloudflare for a limited period set by their own settings.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- see the personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- have incorrect data corrected;
- have your data deleted or its use restricted;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before;
- receive data you gave us in a machine-readable format.
To use any of these rights, email us. We reply within one month. You can also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto), tietosuoja.fi, or to the supervisory authority in your own EU country.
6. Who receives the data
We do not sell or rent personal data. Providers that handle it on our behalf are:
- our hosting provider, which stores the site and its server logs;
- Cloudflare, which acts as a content delivery and security layer in front of the site and therefore processes visitors' IP addresses and request data; it also serves a small script that hides email addresses from bots;
- an email delivery provider (SMTP service) that sends contact form messages to us.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer should rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or on Standard Contractual Clauses; you can ask us which provider handled your data.
Game publishers we link to are separate controllers. Once you leave our site, their privacy policies apply.
7. Security
The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to contact form messages and server logs is limited to the people who run the site, and accounts are protected with strong passwords. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send us confidential information through the form.
If we change this policy, the date at the top of the page will change too.
