1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, keep information on your device in the same way. They let a site remember settings between visits.
2. The rules we follow
In Finland, storing information on a visitor's device is governed by section 205 of the Act on Electronic Communications Services (917/2014), together with the GDPR. Storage that is strictly needed to provide the site may be used without consent. Anything else, such as analytics, needs your prior consent.
3. What we use
- Essential storage. The entry plr_cookie_consent_status in your browser's local storage records the choice you made in the cookie banner and the time you made it, so the banner does not appear on every page. It stays until you clear your browser data.
- Analytics cookies. Off by default. At the moment the site does not load any third-party analytics script. The analytics switch records your choice in advance, so that any statistics tool we add later will respect it. If we add one, we will name it on this page first.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site is served through Cloudflare, which may set strictly necessary security cookies; none were set on our pages when we last checked. The game publishers we link to set their own cookies on their own sites, under their own policies.
4. Changing your choice
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all cookies, keep essential ones only, or open the settings. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings button in the footer of every page.
5. Cookies in your browser settings
You can also view and delete cookies and site data in your browser:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies, or Delete browsing data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
If you delete the stored choice, the cookie banner will appear again on your next visit.
